Este vinho é um exemplo notável do estilo Noval. Tem um tratamento exatamente igual ao Vinho do Porto Vintage: provém apenas de castas nobres da Quinta, uvas pisadas a pé e não é filtrado. O que o distingue é o facto de envelhecer quatro anos ou cinco em tonéis, em vez de dois anos como o Vinho do Porto Vintage. É sem dúvida um LBV distinto, com taninos muito bem estruturados, grande frescura e pureza de fruta. É delicioso para beber agora, mas envelhecerá lindamente na garrafa.
