Bilha de Rosca 2 Barro Negro de Bisalhães

Bisalhães is a village in the parish of Mondrões, in the district of Vila Real.

The process of making Barro Negro de Bisalhães has been part of UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2016.

And from generation to generation the knowledge is passed on, allowing this tradition to continue to be preserved for future generations.

This wealth, unrepeatable and inimitable, is part of the DNA and what it means to be from Vila-Real.

See more information on the method of making Bisalhães black clay in the VISIT PORTUGAL category.

Screw cap
