Reza a lenda, que h\u00e1 muitos anos atr\u00e1s, um terr\u00edvel inc\u00eandio deflagrou nas caves onde a aguardente Fim de S\u00e9culo repousava. No meio de incont\u00e1veis preju\u00edzos, eis que paradoxalmente se d\u00e1 um acontecimento extraordin\u00e1rio. Com o excessivo calor produzido durante o inc\u00eandio, o vidro das garrafas derreteu e ganhou a forma original que at\u00e9 hoje se mant\u00e9m. Na altura desenvolveu-se um molde, que foi imediatamente destru\u00eddo para que as c\u00f3pias n\u00e3o fossem poss\u00edveis.
