Fábrica Santo António is a century-old company that was founded in Funchal in 1893 and has been dedicated to making traditional Madeiran sweets ever since.
Striving for quality and rigour in manufacturing, a benchmark brand was created in Madeira, which has lasted until the present day, and is currently in its fifth generation.
As well as the famous biscuits, the company produces the traditional Madeira Cane Honey Cake, handmade sweets, marmalade and fruit jams from the region, covered and soft almonds typical of the Easter season, as well as a wide range of Madeiran biscuits and biscuits, in various shapes and flavours, always based on a select choice of the best ingredients.
The company was founded 129 years ago.
